Although this book was not as described, with no picture of it in the listing, the seller communicated well and quickly gave me a full refund while letting me keep it. The minimal packaging left the book a bit vulnerable (typical for ThriftBooks), but it did arrive safely and timely. As usual, it’s hit or miss with this seller, but often times you can get great values, and their customer service is always very good. Many other sellers with millions of transactions don’t even communicate.

  • My favorite book

I'll start with title, Sojourn, it means to stay. And that's exactly what the main character is doing, looking for a place to stay. The main character is a dark elf, so there's a bit of metaphor for discrimination involved, as he enters unfamiliar terrain. Set in the D&D world, he has many adventured thrown at him along the way. But unlike (all powerful) Elminster the wizard, Drizzt must use hits wits & swords to survive. Reading this book currently for the 15th time, I can say it worth while for fans of D&D games and novels, or anyone who likes fantasy. The book is acceptable for children, but there should be some parental guidance given if they're under 13. In later books, the plot will advance & become more adult themed, but this book will still be fun for adults. Read this (along ...
