The catfisherman on a budget
Best inexpensive reel i have purchased. I’ve tried many different types of inexpensive reels from Zebco big cat, lews, and basspro catmaxx and this one is by far my favorite. Great durability, smooth transition from casting to retrieving. Can cast a santee rig with 4oz sinker and big bluegill a mile away. Not quite as far as an abu garcia but pretty close. Anyways if you are on a budget and love fishing for big flathead, blue catfish and big stripers this is the reel for you.

Getting stuck
I knew it was a used reel but I thought it would be functional..only on my first day of fishing, I started to just drop the line in the water with a 2oz sinker and it "got stuck". The release clip then would not function properly. I knew it was used but at least thought it could last me a season or two....don't buy used reels
