    A great deal, and perfect for me!

    The perfect vehicle for adapting my wide-array of vintage, manual-focus lenses. The a7R III can do lots more and has all sorts of features for autofocus and video, but I don't use any of that. This means it took a while to get everything customized for my narrow use, but once I did, it's a joy to use and allows me to pursue my passion. Its compact size, good viewfinder, high resolution sensor, long battery life, and in-body image stabilization have all stood out to me during use. And now that the a7R IV was released, this version III can be found at a very good price!

    Lots of set up options and great battery life.

    Lots of options on setting up the way you like the camera to perform. Smaller body so it is easier to carry around. Numerous lens options with Sony and other lens companies. Battery life has improved dramatically on this model and shares the same battery with my A9. Sony may be considered an "Electronics Company" and not a real "Camera Company" but they make lots of camera sensors and have the resources that has enabled them to jump in to mirrorless cameras with both feet. Their different offerings of Alpha cameras is amazing and they continue to raise the bar.

    Great for any form of photography/video you can think of

    Amazing camera in every way. Fantastic in low light, and it can crop super far with its high megapixels which is fantastic for extending telephoto / macro (or to just be lazy with portrait compositions lol). Pixel shift is really useful to create excruciatingly detailed landscapes and has been updated to 0.5s between shots, making it twice as quick and convenient. Battery life and overall weight/grip is great.

    This Sony A Good Choice To Upgrade Your System

    Best of Sony mirrorless design. Large image sensor and multi-axis image stabilization are a serious plus. Improved resolution display is improvement of older versions. Best to update firmware on camera and lenses to get best performance. Have multiple Sony batteries as battery endurance is less than regular DSLR. Previous model was an A7

    Amazing high MP body, as long as you give it plenty of light, it outputs all the detail to you. Picky on light condition and quality of lens used. I can see clearly between my zoom lens and prime lens now.
