    Best Vac Ever

    This pump is simple. Nothing extra to go wrong. Quiet smooth rotary vane pump pulls down to 500 microns in minutes. Built solid and easy to transport. It is a few lbs heavier than most of the 6cfm pumps I have used, but the performance and build quality are a very equitable trade off. Eliminates the need for a second pump on large commercial systems. Love this thing!

    nothing special

    have a 20 year old robinaire but was convinced by the advertising propaganda that this one would pull a " deep vacuum" that the new systems require. unit arrived and it puklls exactly the same vacuum that my vintage robinaire does. tech support says " oh... well we just publish that but most of the time they won't do it " nice. wasted money. if you have one that works you don't need this one or , considering their ethiocs, nothing from this company at all.

    Pretty good overall

    The plus side is it has good power pretty heavy duty. The downside is it has a narrow platform, easy to tip on side. More annoying is the lack of a shutoff valve on the suction. If this pump is run wide open (unconnected lines) it will send oil out the exhaust. Normally, this won't be a problem, but out in the field I've started without gauge set closed, or in a hurry, etc, and it makes for a slight mess. This is where the JB pump is way more convenient because of its main suction shutoff valve.
