SynopsisFilmmakers from Orson Welles to Federico Fellini would never have created some of their most brilliant masterpieces without the help of a seemingly simple technique called storyboarding. But storyboarding itself was born from another type of masterpiece--the animated film, specifically the animated features of Walt Disney., A collection of storyboard images offers a retrospective of Disney's animation, from Snow White to The Hunchback of Notre Dame., Invented at the Walt Disney Studios in the early,1930s, the storyboard quickly became an essential,in the planning of all forms of movies. Directors, from Walt Disney to Hitchcock, from Fellini to Tim,Burton, Orson Wells to Scorcese all made use of,them. This gloriously illustrated work explores, the art and craft of storyboarding as it was - and, still is - performed by master artists at the,Disney Studios offering an exciting,behind-the-scenes look at a crucial and intricate, part of the animation process. • Book Binding Integrity Issues

I was happy to receive my order and the book appeared to be in great shape. When I opened the book to look through it , the binding glue started to fall out of the book in flakes and the pages no longer held in place. This being my second attempt to purchase this book, I used youtube videos to learn how to repair the book. I cut the inside of the back cover hinge away from the bulk of the pages, reset the pages, and glued the binding back into place. I am very happy with the book now. I didn't think of taking photos because I was committed to repair and keep the book.

  • RARE Unseen RAW Disney Artwork!!

FANTASTIC "Disney" *ART* book - But where the MAGIC has to BEGIN! ALL Original Sketches/ Renderings of many of the Greatest Disney *Animated* films - back BEFORE that CGI business! The Art had to be Hand Done... But Every Disney animated Classic BEGAN from an Idea.. From there - the Idea had to be *Seen*, AS an animation.. This book IS about the "Storyboards" artwork, the RAW Movie, used to Hash/ Refine/ the Final Processes Before the first 'Animation GEL sheet' Could be authorized as "go"! BIG book - Cover to cover "Scratch Art"! The Public NEVER Sees these!! UNTIL NOW! Highly recommended for All Disney Fans!
