    Celestron NexStar 8SE Schmidt-Cassegrain Computerized Telescope

    This is my first telescope so I don't have anything to compare it to, except online pictures of what we should see through a telescope. So far I am quite pleased. I can see for miles and miles over land. Kinda scary actually, who is watching me? Keeping my blinds closed now. The images that you see through the eyepiece are a mirror image, car license plates are backwards, but are clearly readable. I just had a look at the moon last night and you can make out clear details, even shadowing, using any of the lenses that came with the kit. I am going to rig up a web cam type set up over the eyepiece so I can view the images and capture them on my laptop. Then the mirror image thing is easily corrected. The set up is easy.     Disappointment
