This book is also good for the experienced horse person because the conformation knowledge allows a more realistic poses by showing knowledge of the muscle definition. I bought the book for a 'special needs' adult friend who likes to color, and loves horses. I'd been searching for a coloring book with horses for her, but everything at brick&mortar retail stores was either children's cartoon style horses, or worse - "adult" coloring books where the horse outlines were filled with tiny little shapes that, when filled in with different colors, would look like what some 1960's Stoner might see while having an acid flashback.
