The item was brand new and worked perfectly, and I even got it hooked up to the internet despite some ambiguous wording in the associated manufacturer's app. It is actually easier to use than I expected, and it has a nice simulated voice recording that says, "It's time for your medication." before it starts making those beeps. It was easy to program the various options.

They are a bit of trouble to attach to the wireless network. Excellent prices, I have bought 13 of them. I use three sets to give me a 14-21 day supply with four dispensing times. If dispensing times are close together, you'll need two dispensers so that you can reach any medication you missed. Unique locking key discourages others from opening the dispenser.

It works exactly as it should for my 91 year old father, he has been using this same dispenser for over a year. Before trying this, he struggled to take his medication properly. I like it so well that I bought this one for a back up in case something happens to his dispenser.
