    AFCI/GFCI, plug on neutral, combination breakers are the perfect solution for modern NEC requirements.

    With the modern and ever changing NEC codes that directly impacts the costs to my customers, these combination AFCI/GFCI are the perfect solution for bath and kitchen power distribution. The latest guidelines pertaining to new installations, branch circuit upgrades, certain types of service drop upgrades now require every sleeping room and just about every other living space within the dwelling to be protected by AFCI. It has caused a massive increase to installation costs since the breakers went from $4 each for the old/regular style breakers to over $30 each for the newer/code compliant AFCI/GFCI breakers. Many of my fellow electricians think the AFCI breakers are overkill...my opinion, they're absolute proven, human life and property savers. That being said, they're worth every penny. ...
