    Lightweight and comfortable

    Overpriced, like all PAPR gear, but it's light, comfortable, and makes a good seal for a device that's designed as a loose-fitting positive-pressure headpiece. For sawdust or other particulate irritants easily wiped away, it makes much more sense than the comparably loose-fitting disposable hoods. Note that this is not a hard-hat -- 3M makes other models with more robust head and face protection suitable for heavy industry.
