    MACK CONTAINER TRUCK Kit # 42078

    As with ALL Lego Technic "ADULT" kits, this one is no slouch. It is complex, built in six sub categories with all the parts bagged in corresponding number categories. The kit contains a massive 2,595 pieces. You will find in some of the sub build parts bags there are left over pieces that will be needed in the sub sections coming up later. Directions are generally clear and somewhat easy to follow if you are an experienced builder. One thing that dives me nuts about LEGO is that they can not seem to get the colors in their instruction book correct. Often the dark gray looks black, etc. And as usual ( although LEGO disputes this with me ) I find some small parts missing that are vital to completion. I have a huge supply of spare parts but if you are not fortunate enough to have extras of ...

    Well designed, fun build

    This set is a well designed, fun build. There is plenty of play-ability for kids, and tons of enjoyment just doing the build. There are many MOC (My Own Creation) instructions available to build as well. There are a number of websites available that see MOC instructions. But both the A and B set of instructions from LEGO is excellent. Some would even say that the B model is arguably better than the A model. It is just a great set all around. If you like Technic models, this one will not disappoint.

    Great set makes 2 different trucks

    Hours of entertainment and the set makes 2 completely different models with many working moving parts. The garbage truck instructions are easily found online or any lego website. Note....almost all lego sets have a "B" instructions that do not come with the boxed set, but can be easily found online.

    Good father-son project

    I built this with my 12-year-old son, it took us 8 hours over the course of a week. Loved the detail and the intricate workings for steering and drivetrain. Legos have come a long way since I was a kid, I will admit that I would have enjoyed this set even without having a kid to share it with!
