    Good product..difficult installation in cold weather

    I have used these for several years now. I like the style, color of the light and the value. However, I find it very difficult to install in cold weather. The main cable wire is hard and not easy for the contacts to puncture the wire. I will have to wait til the spring to install when the wire is more pliable. You also have to be careful if you use pliers to squeeze the contact assembly together as you can easily break it.

    Great replacement landscape light fixture

    I have purchased several of these Malibu landscape light fixtures to replace some aging Malibu fixtures, similar to this one. This fixture is a little more lightweight aluminum construction and takes a different lamp bulb than the original it is replacing, but they seem to be of decent construction and the bulbs are lasting as long as the originals did. The only negative is the lightweight wiring connector that remains on this model lamp...it is a bit troublesome to attach, often needs a pair of pliers to clamp it down tightly on the supply wire, but be careful as you can easily break the plastic parts of the connector!

    Tried and True

    Get it while you can!! Malibu light systems is in many outdoor spaces. Malibu is long lasting but no longer being manufactured and replacement parts are hard to find. It's too expensive to replace the whole system with LED lights. It's great to find replacements on Ebay

    Low cost, high return

    Excellent landscape light. Metal, sprinkler-proof body. I replaced the G4 bulb with LED bulb which increased the amount of lights I could connect to my transformer. Casts beautiful lights on my hedges and backyard landscape.
