I haven't tried any others but this works well for me and I'm happy I didn't spend the extra $$ on something that probably wouldn't perform any better. Once assembled, the diffuser hood is pretty stable though it could do with a better system for securing to the flash as it can slip off. Sticking some self-adhesive foam to the underside of your flash to give the strap something to grip solves this problem
