Among the Very Best from Hammer Studio
Revenge of Frankenstein is the is second half of The Curse of Frankenstein and it is even more blood curdling than the latter. After escaping the guillotine, Victor Frankenstein opens a new practice under the name of Dr. Stein. He is amputating his patients in furtherance of his experiments and when they discover his true identity they attack mob-like, beating him nearly to death. The assistant, also a surgeon, transplants his dying mentor's brain into the head of a patchwork body prepared beforehand by Dr. Stein. It isn't the creation that cannot die, but rather Victor Frankenstein himself who continues--sustainable evil. The movie closes with the former Baron running a new clinic in London and he is using the name Dr. Franck. The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb: A strong screenplay, ... Also, the props that were made to represent Egyptian artifacts were ornate and richly painted. In the final scenes of this film you're never quite certain how the Mummy will resolve things. This is a Mill Creek Blu-ray disc and the picture quality is as good as you could want. The images are sharp and the color rendition is superb.
