    Awesome, except...

    I love this movie EXCEPT for the fact that it has quite a bit (but not a LOT) of cussing in it. They could have FULLY done without that and then this would have been an excellent family movie. The computer graphics (CGI) are unbelievable, you can't tell it from the real life things in the movie. The multiple disc set is awesome if you're into all the extra behind the scene stuff and commentary. I got my multiple disc set for around $15.00 or so, which is a great deal. I don't know what it trends at now. It is well worth the money as long as you don't have to pay a heap load of cash for it. I hope that this helps you in your decision on whether to buy this item or not.

    Missing the 2nd DVD.

    My family and I sat down to watch the movie last night for the first time since I bought it. I was extremely upset when I realized that the 2nd dvd was not in the case. The packaging is unique and looks like a book. So when I first examined it (when it arrived) I saw 2 dvds and I thought great! But actually 1 dvd us the first 1/2 of the movie and the 2nd (actually 3rd) is the directors cut. Very disappointed kids didn’t get to see the end of the movie.

    Awesome!

    This collector's edition has an awesome "graphics" box with 3 separate pockets with disc in each. 3 discs set. First 2 discs are the movie in different modes to watch the 2 part movie (cause of the length of the movie) and 3rd disc is the making of the movie. Awesome collection for the price!!

    I really like the extended version of Avatar. I had seen both the original version and the extended versions of Avatar before. I liked the extended version better than the original. The deleted scenes, and the descriptions of how the movie was made is a plus. I decided to get Avatar for myself after I had read that new Avatar movies would be made.

    Avatar Extended Collector's Edition - Fantastic story and cinematography loaded with extras!

    Always loved the movie and this extended edition adds so much more of interest. I've disposed of many DVDs from my collection but decided this is one I definitely needed to add!
