      Best iron ever!!!!

      I love Oreck products!, I didn’t know they made irons. I picked one up at an estate sale.... I dropped my first one and put a HUGE crack in it. It still worked for me. I found more on eBay, purchased myself a back-up, and got one for my mother. Just in the past two weeks, my very much loved, cracked, amazing iron died. I’ve got my eBay back-up, and I’m about to get another one. I LOVE to iron, I use mine almost everyday, so I believe the Oreck iron is the best one I’ve ever had!!!

      Oreck Cordless Iron

      The idea is great, but in reality, it cools down too much as you iron & is hard to get into the base every time. I have to let it sit in the base for a while to heat back up so I can keep ironing. It really hasn't worked well for me. I'm very disappointed.

      It heats quickly, stays very hot so it cuts ironing time in half ! I live in Texas where humidity and heat are a regular summer climate to get through. So because of that my family wears only cotton, which needs to be ironed. I love this iron and the price was so great, compared to others priced at double the price. So for the price and performance, I can highly rate this iron as wonderful !

      Best Iron EVER!!

      I bought a brand, spankin' new one at an estate sale probably 10 years ago and it finally croaked after years of constant use. I was heartbroken as it didn't appear that Oreck was making them anymore. I bought a Rowenta Iron for over $125 and it lasted literally one year before it went 'boots up'. I then purchased a Shark iron, much cheaper than the Rowenta, and it lasted up until now (nearly 3 years). I then Googled "Oreck Irons" and after searching every ad, I came up on a brand new/never used one for $55!!! I was ecstatic and it was like getting an early Christmas present the day it arrived! Oreck makes the best irons ever, they actually are built to last, which is a rarity these days! Giving it many 'thumbs up"! 👍👍👍👍👍

      A quality product from a long-established manufacturer. The iron has excellent features, including auto shutoff for added safety. High quality packaging to protect the iron during shipment, which includes a protective covering for the sole plate. The iron has separate controls for steam & spray options. This iron can be used with or without the cord, however use without the cord offers greater ease of handling while ironing. For longer, continuous ironing use with the cord. Do read the instructions & follow those steps for things you must do before first use, especially the steps for testing steam operation, which include steps for cleaning the sole plate which has a protective coating from the factory. This iron is indeed heavier than more lower priced irons, but the positive tradeoff ...
