Great Price for a piece of history and a shop made knife. The USN marking identifies the time period for the Camillus knife. The color inserts in the handle may have been issued that way. A lot of steel items were made for the war effort and in some cases done in a hurry to meet the supply Needed. Just a thought. A great purchase and very glad to make it a part of my collection.
