Poor craftsmanship by Lionel greed era.
It is a 70s built car. During the era when Lionel was putting out cheaply poorly built products. Lionel was owned, at the time, was owned by a character only interested in profits not quality The coupler at one end is broken. If that end is coupled the car details. Not worth the price then and now. Also the shipping cost was higher than usual. Happily that previous owner of the company sold it before Lionel went bankrupt.
