    Awesome pcv valve!

    I first bought a generic one, and the balloon test did not fare that much better than the defective one that came off the vehicle. But this one made in Japan had no issues holding the air in the balloon for at least five minutes, at which point I felt that this one passed the test. The excessive oil utilization by the vehicle seems to have been fixed, as the motor oil level on the dipstick has not shown any drop after 500 miles so far.
