I mistakenly thought these had a metal or plastic sleeve to contain the magnet bar. The description page does say they must be epoxied to something. The magnets do match the photo after seeing how they look next to a spoke. I expect to make use of them.

Accutron 214 Railroad (1973) works perfectly, just as described, having worn it almost two weeks, using an era-appropriate Corfam strap from my junk box I mended. Got it to replace an M6 (1966) one just like it I thought I’d lost. Fortunately found so now I have two good-working examples!
I appreciate the service work the seller did prior to posting. So few on eBay that have had that.
