Did not pair correctly unless located very close to each other.
These units would not 'pair' correctly unless they were in the same room or an adjacent room. I spent most of an afternoon setting and resetting and re-pairing a set of 4 of these with no success. I have 4 similar units by the same manufacturer, but older, slower models that pair correctly with each other even when at least two are located at the farthest end of the house, some 75-80 feet away and a floor below. I use them to connect a remote wireless access point, and two devices on our Tesla electrical system to my internet router and the newer ones would not connect to each other, whereas the older ones did with no problem. Very Satisfied With the Results
Was having internet problems with a computer in the basement of a 3 floor home. Was only getting 9.5 Mbps on the download, and about 10 on the upload, with a brand new fast computer. Replaced with this and am getting 39.1 Mbps download and 15.2 Mbps upload. No, it's not as fast as the computer upstairs that's hardwired to the router, but it works well enough. Very easy to install and no issues in 3 years. Was having internet problems with a computer in the basement of a 3 floor home.
