Dvd arrived quickly and well packaged and taken care of. The item was listed as acceptable and met all of my needs but here's a quick description of what I got: Some wear is visible on the plastic sleeve on the outside of the case. The inside leaflet was still there! The disk has about 3 very notable scratches, although none are bigger than about 2 centimeters. Little to no grime anywhere on the product. Great service!

Very Enjoyable Film w/ Strong Performance by Geo. Raft
They Drive By Night (1940) is a thoroughly enjoyable film starring George Raft and Humphrey Bogart as Joe and Paul Fabrini, two truck-driving brothers. Joe is the protagonist, and Raft gives a very strong performance. Bogie's performance is memorable as well, and I particularly liked Ann Sheridan as the witty waitress who becomes Joe's girlfriend. The story is interesting and entertaining, and eBay's description fails to capture it adequately. The beginning of the film follows the Fabrini brothers' efforts to succeed as independent truckers. Then the focus shifts to Joe's involvement with a trucking company owner (Alan Hale) and his wife (Ida Lupino), who does everything she can to try to seduce Joe. I thought Lupino's performance, which at one point is filled with histrionics, is ... Great film classic
One of my favorite noir movies, possibly George Raft's best performance, the entire cast was stellar. Ida Lupino's courtroom scene.....absolutely amazing.
