    Works Well

    Not quite the fit & finish of way overpriced Stihl, but it worked well. You have to cut the spark plug wire to length but it's not hard - just remove the spark plug boot and move the spring coil to the new location. We'll see if it lasts. Well.....Stihl one only lasted for about 10 hr, then no spark. Disappointed in Stihl quality.

    Coil wire too short ( Stihl 034 AV)

    Coil wire is 2” too short. Had to file new access slot in cover to reroute wire. Where the coil wire exits the coil, the cap is too high so the hard 90 turn out of the coil is TIGHT. I made this replacement work, but the average buyer may not be as lucky. I have a Stihl 034 AV. The saw runs fine at a fifth of the cost of a genuine Stihl coil.

    Same as the OEM for much less!

    I made the buy for a customer's Stihl 028 WB to replace a dead one. I was pleased to see the plug lead was actually an inch longer than the original giving more flexibility for changing the plug in the future.

    my coil had three points of contact one ...

    my coil had three points of contact one at each end and the one in the middle. I took the plug wire off yours and installed it on mine my plug wire was broken, it worked.
