    A very dark and depressing story

    I hate reading stories when people get tortured. But it did seem to have some relevance to our current political environment where the governent is creating enemies where none exists. A lot of time is spent on the old magistrates sex life, it seem gratutious

    Like Heart of Darkness

    This book is short and reminds me of a novella, but it is not. Time and setting do not exist in this story. If you can find one, let me know. :) If you are a fan of Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness, I highly recommend. I am not a huge fan of this story, but alas in the end I will try to appreciate the existence of an Empirical hierarchy.

    Waiting for the Barbarians

    I read this book for school. This is one of the few books I read for school that wasn't painful to get through. I normally get too bored to finish a book. In the end, I'm glad I read this book, it was interesting.
