Cool tech, but frustrating brain that decides what cookware is worthy. We have a full suite of induction-friendly pots and pans, but this cooktop refuses to accept our small pots and pans. Only 10" and larger. Also, this Schott Ceran top scratches much easier than previous glass cooktops. Every glass cooktop has the same brand name stamped in the upper left corner, but it seems that not every top is the same with regard to scratch resistance. Overall, 3.5 stars. Rounded to 4.
