Awesome product, well worth the money!
A really great and toe-tapping blues CD by John Lee Hooker. This kind of music not only makes you tap your toes, but it is the kind of music that makes you want to get up and dance to, even if you're not a dancer. Bought it originally for my boyfriend, to take a copy of along on a road trip on his motorcycle(they have built in cd players on the newer bigger bikes), and now I know he'll be listening to his favorite blues singer as he rumbles through the hills of South Dakota and on his trip to Sturgis, 2011~!A really great and toe-tapping blues CD by John Lee Hooker. Good CD but not John Lee Hookers best
This CD was released in 1993 and was a great tribute to the man who invented boogie chilin'. While all the players are top notch I feel like this CD is lacking in the soul of his original work. If it wasn't John Lee Hooker this would be a knock down awesome CD but this guy has too much to live up to and one expects better than average from the master of the blues.
