We have been using the Vtech 6.0 DECT phones for some time, this set was supposed to be new in the box but was opened and the handsets were registered. I am sure someone could use this set but it would not integrate with our established setup. Enough about that - the cordless phones work extremely well and the speakerphone option is a godsend for my mild hearing loss. They may not work as well with the telecoil feature on some hearing aids. I tried it once and had to go to a land line phone. For general use these wireless handsets are a top choice.

I have a few issues with this phone. First of all, the keys are huge and hard to press. Secondly, the Key Tone is delayed. It appears that this phone was designed for elderly people. Thirdly, it stores only 10 phone numbers. I am used to Panasonic phones which are much better. Sound quality is good and the headset is comfortable though. I don't use the landline so much, otherwise I would return it.

Great phone easy to use and set up. I was a little shocked that in this day and time, the phone does not have an answering machine/device built in; only has a forwarding feature to send the answering function to some other voicemail on another device you have.

These phones are so small and kind of cute, but they do have all the features I need. Since I have voicemail service with my telephone provider, I just wanted a set of phones that had CallerID/Call Waiting with access to this service. This particular model fit the bill. I also wanted a cordless phone system that I could easily expand when I move into a larger place. The CS6 series phones are easily expandable (just nab another handset and plug in). Some other details: I'm now waiting for them to charge, but I have set up the date/time (use the arrow keys on the big menu button to change the options, and then the select button at the right in the black area to set your choice). You cannot browse the menu while the handset is docked, BTW. These were pretty easy to set up once I figured out the jack I was originally trying to use was dead. The main base plugs into the phone jack and a power source, while the secondary phone(s) just plug into a power source. If you happen to have your router by where you would like your phone, you can plug the line into the phone port on the router without having to use a DSL filter. Sound quality is pretty clear (I "cheated" and called my husband's phone just briefly for a "hey, how are ya?" just to see). Other than that, these are pretty cool phones that don't clash with our environment/decor and are pretty handy.Read full review
I mainly purchased these phones because I need to maintain a land line for our fax machine, and figured if it's there may as well use it. The phones are very light but have a solid feel to them. Button touch feedback is good. Sound quality is acceptable, not great but it's good enough where you don't feel the need to cut the conversation short or go to a different phone. All in all I am satisfied with my purchase. Have only had them for a couple weeks so can not comment on how well they hold up. While I don't feel any need to return them if I were to buy again I think I would spend a little more money and upgrade a notch of two.
