    Perfect mid-range to high-end crossfire board

    ASUSTek (or just ASUS) has been making high quality enthusiast grade motherboards for a number of years. This board is no exception. The board is capable of CrossFireX at x8 speed per card with great a layout for optimum card placement. There's also the 8+2 power phase design for super-stable voltages to both the IMC, HT Link, and vCore. Overclockablity is exceptional for even the highest-end Phenom II's and Thuban's. Hexa-core capable, DDR3, over sized heatsinks all around, and ACC for core unlocking put this board at the top for budget minded enthusiasts.

    M4A78T-E motherboard replacement

    A replacement for my M4A78T-E motherboard that had 2 memory banks go bad. This one sees all 4 of my memory modules. A cheap fix vs buying a new motherboard!!

    Great product; I've had my best results with Asus motherboards.

    I purchased this mobo as a direct replacement for one that had been in service for 4 years and recently died. I discovered that the new board had actually been updated with new BIOS, additional utilities and support for 6-core processors. I installed the new board, configured the CMOS, and "tweaked" the boot-up sequence. This board performs flawlessly and is a real workhorse and handles anything that I throw at it. I'm running the AMD Phenom 64 bit quad processor, 16GB of RAM, a high-performance ATI Fire Pro video card driving 2 LCD monitors. Multi-thread, multi-tasking is no problem for this mobo. I run Windows 7 PRO 64 bit version.
