First edition of the basic book on Lionel by the hobby's top authority.
Bought this as a companion to my copy of the second edition. Some long summer afternoon, I will settle on the porch with both books and compare them. A quick scan through impresses the reader with the quality of the pictures, given what was state of the art in photography 35 years ago. Advances in scholarship will be especially interesting, since TCA was the repository for the best toy train knowledge in 1976, just as it is now.Bought this as a companion to my copy of the second edition.
