It's a good introduction to the series, but could've been a little better.
initially, i had ordered this for my cousin. She received hers and i got myself a copy too. It didn't have as much action for my taste, though it was definately different. It seemed to have elements of Dark Shadows, Dracula, Nosferatu,etc. It wasn't bad. The story just didn't "suck" me in. Even with the three hapless females. The later films in the series are probably more interesting.initially, i had ordered this for my cousin. She received hers and i got myself a copy too.
