Mixed feelings...
I bought this Delta faucet kit to replace my existing Delta tub faucet that started leaking. That, and the old faucet was white, which apparently was the thing to have in 1999. So I also wanted an update to chrome while re-using the existing plumbing valve. Installation was pretty easy once I drilled out the old control lever and cut off the seized bonnet nut holding the cartridge in place (a common problem, it seems). Everything fit perfectly and worked out nicely once the original hardware was removed. The only complaint I have about this product is the use of both metal and ABS plastic. The shower head is ABS, the pipe and trim are metal. Okay, fine. The water lever and trim is metal. The spout itself is ABS. A plastic spout - really? It looks okay but is cheap to the touch. I ...
