    Intel is solid for compatibility and 4 ports gives great flexibility in applications that use the card.

    4 Ports for flexibility. Used in a pfSense router build on an old Optiplex 390 SFF desktop. This card costs little more than the cheaper and older 2 port cards and is far better.

    Buy intel for pfsense

    Works well in my pfsense box, good throughput. I would buy the same card again if I need another quad port card. I believe that for pfsense intel is the only way to go.
