New gasket works well. At the price it sold for, it should have come supplied with the 1 oz tube of petrol lubricant suggested for the gasket as well as a small tube of RTV silicone suggested for securing the corners! After reading on-line descriptions for how to install this gasket, I found a few things not mentioned that would be helpful: 1) to remove the old gasket, start at the middle of the door. BE CAREFUL, the gasket lip that slides behind the door interior panel is fragile. 2) The new gasket will not just 'slip' behind the interior door panel. I found it much easier to loosen all 12 million interior door screws. 3) At the corners, start from the vertical edge and pull the gasket up or down into the horizontal edge. The gasket has some stretch.
