    Great Product to rebuild 2008 Enclave TEHCM

    Used this kit last weekend to rebuild a TEHCM for a 2008 Buick Enclave. The item arrived a day early and was compete with 5 discs, 5 rubber seals and the install kit. If you read all the "how-to's" on this rebuild, you should have no problem. Car shifts smooth and no ODB codes present. One note is that the rubber seal was not 100% flush in the TEHCM, even though the seal was set in the groove and would not easily pull out using a set of pliers. I assume the old seals were compressed so much that they looked smaller than the new ones. Either way, tranny is good to go.

    part corrected my issue.

    Worked great. Corrected my delayed shift. Shifting into D, it took 3 seconds to engage. Once the parts were installed and about 2 days of driving (80-100 miles) and a few cold engine starts, and the computer/trans relearned settings. (I disconnected battery while I worked on the trans). Shifting to Drive- it engages within 1 second.

    Cheap way to fix an expensive problem!

    My 2008 GMC Acadia threw two codes and after searching a bunch of forums I figured out that the most likely culprit was the membranes in the TEHCM. Rather than spending 1500 on having the vehicle "professionally" repaired, I did it myself, saving myself a ton of money, the car purrs great now, can't tell that she has 188k miles on her!
