    Ibanez AEB10e sunburst review

    The overall set up of this guitar was mediocre. The string action was much higher than I expected. However I don't have experience with an acoustic bass for comparison although I have been playing bass for over 50 years. My two Schecter basses (4 and 5 string) have really low and smooth action so they might be an unfair comparison. The neck aparently is some sort of bolt on as opposed to a dove tail. The neck turned out to be a bit loose. I tightened it up and also made a small truss rod adjustment and this improved action. It still plays more like a truck than a sports car but it is better. As to tone and overall volume, the bass is quieter than expected with pretty good tone. Since it is going to be used in a trio with a violin and acoustic guitar, I will have to use a small ...
