Terrible metal quality, very brittle
This product is somewhat cheap. However, for this specific vehicle, or at least the 04-08 generation ford f-150, this product is absolute garbage. I own a 05 4.2 and I have replaced the RH side 5 times, and the LH side has been replaced 3. They always crack just between the middle manifold outlet, and the very last outlet (V6). If you buy them from most auto parts stores, they come with a lifetime warranty. That is because they will most certainly break and have to be replaced. Very poor cast iron quality. Made in China says it all. Do not buy these thinking you will save money. They will continue to break and break and unless you are replacing them yourself, you are also paying someone else to do it every time. Get OEM or higher quality. Total garbage.
