    Pool filter - Pleatco PAP100-4

    Have used these filters for years and they do the job they are designed for. Even the pool cleaning company I use recommends them. I get them from Amazon because the price is much less than my pool service company and other websites.

    Pleatco PAP100-4 Filter Cartridge Pentair Predator Clean & Clear 100 C-9410

    I have always tried to get the extra year or two out of my old filter. The Pleatco PAP 100-4 is a definite improvement. The fabric they use is much better than the standard remay product. Also the horizontal bands appear to much sturdier than other products. At $45 buy it. I received mine in 2 days.

    Cleans Great

    Much better than the ones at Lowes and Home Depot. It has cleared the water up nicely and it was very green due to one problem after another and running very little for a month. Seems sturdy but we have only used it a couple of weeks. I will probably stick with this product. I am impressed with it to this point.

    Cost vs Quality

    A more expensive filter might have more filter material. I purchased the least expensive one I could find. My pool person says the more expensive ones have more paper folds for filtering but that the one I bought was "fine".
