    Good DIY tasks

    This type of filter doesn't have much rigidity, and this is no different. Getting to the compartment isn't easy the first time around because car makers want you to use dealer service. However, once you get the hang of it, then it only takes about 10 minutes to drop the glove box, unlatch the filter compartment door, pull used filter out, and then slide this one in and reverse the process. It's so much better as a DIY task because you get to see just how dirty these filters get after only 20,000 miles.

    Cabin air filter replacement

    Slightly smaller than factory cabin air filter so it fits in its tray a little more loosely. Haven't spent too much time in the car yet so I have yet to see if it improved the smell in the car. Seems to be of quality build so I am certain it will do a good job of filtering the air. I have never had any problems with any of Fram's filters.
