Bible Buffet, for the Nintendo Entertainment System, is an unlicensed game by Wisdom Tree. The game is a strange hybrid of Zelda-style overhead gameplay and a board game similar to Candy Land. The game is broken up by occasional True or False quizzes, which can only be answered if you have the manual that contains the questions. The game sets you on a board. You roll a spinner, which sends you to a random square to begin the game. During play, you must make your way through several food-themed lands, battling killer tomatoes, pizza, eggs, and countless other edible monstrosities. You must collect (eat?) as much food as you can along the way. One player mode gets somewhat bland and repetitive after a single game. However, this game's multi player mode makes up for it. Up to four players can battle the possessed food in a game, requiring only a single controller to be passed about at the end of each player's turn. Winners are decided based on three categories; first to reach the end, most food eaten, and most quizzes passed. This game is not for everyone, but it's probably one of Wisdom Trees best games (though that's not saying much). Fans of weird, obscure titles will enjoy this game as it is by far the strangest experience you will ever have with the NES. This game's fun factor is boosted exponentially if you have friends to share the experience with, and this game can provide hours of fun at a party.Read full review
Bible Buffet was made in 1993 by Wisdom Tree. This is one of the few games for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) that was not licensed by Nintendo. The game is very similar to Candy Land. There are many different food themed levels where you play mini games in each food level. After the mini games there quizzes, but be sure to have the manual where the questions are. Bible buffet is a classic four player party style game for the NES.
I mean come on, any nintendo collector should know that unlicensed games made by wisdom tree just flat out suck. wisdom tree was a christian based nes game manufacturer that couldn't even manage to get their games licensed. if you are a collector then getting a hold of wisdom trees' bible buffet is mandatory, for the nes players who love to sit down to solid 8 bit game play, unfortunatly will vomit on this cartridge. thanks for reading -buyyournesstuff-
