I thought it was going to be a headache to learn how to operate all the features after downloading the app but it was easy to pick up on and actually fun to use!!!

The whole equipment is ok, but people can hardly hear me while on a call. They either heard me very far away or couldn’t hear me at all. Coming from an LG product I was expecting something much better. The incoming sound is ok, and the rest of the equipment features are friendly user and simple but the main reasoning for buying it was not satisfactory.

Pros: I've owned the LG Tone Ultra series beginning with the HBS-810, HBS-820s, and now these. The size of this LG Tone series is preferable for me. Flexible, not clunky and stiff, and I typically don't feel neck fatigue because of its humble footprint. Also, I carry 2 phones, so the multipoint feature is welcome. Overall, the performance in audio and voice quality has improved tremendously. Older models didn't perform as well in voice quality during voice calls -- many clients of mine were complaining of background noise or spotty voice quality -- it didn't make for a good professional Bluetooth headset. I struggled to use the older models during my work day, which translated to less reasons to use them altogether. But with this new series, I hope was delivered. Improved Bluetooth 5.0 technology along with dual mems, quad layer speaker technology delivers both great balanced audio sound with good level of highs and bass, while allowing me to take much clearer voice calls. Multipoint connection is great for someone like me who carries 2 phones simultaneously able to connect this headset to both phones. The LG smartphone app helps me control these headsets from either phones, added features, control and monitoring. Lastly, the best feature of these headsets is the voice feedback, but also the haptic feedback. The haptic feedback is the best feature of these headsets and unique to it from any other Bluetooth headsets I've owned. If I get a call, I like that it vibrates around my neck. I love that. Also, battery life is exceptional. They last me 2 days if needed. Cons: Only a few but they are quite disruptive to my ability to really enjoy them. First, I must say the Bluetooth connectivity is spotty. It doesn't automatically connect to my devices. With the updated Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, I had hoped for a much smoother flawless experience, but it just doesn't deliver. I find myself having to search and connect to these headsets many times manually. I had other multipoint headsets that automatically connect to both phones simultaneously, which spoiled me. I had hoped that these LG HBS-835s series would do just that. Instead, I feel like the Bluetooth connectivity is a step down even from the LG HBS820s. Secondly, maybe it's the one I received, but the power plug in seems a bit jenki. I have to jiggle it a little in order to make sure the microUSB connection is getting power therefore properly charging the unit. Lastly, that's just it, I said microUSB -- by now, I was hoping we would already be on USB-c. Summary: The HBS-835s almost delivers on a near perfect richly featured headset experience. It does deliver on the items that count, voice and audio quality. But the lack of reliable and consistent Bluetooth connectivity draws it down, and unfortunately disrupts the overall experience enough, considering Bluetooth 5.0 technology promises that didn't deliver. So close and yet so far away -- hoping that an update in firmware can solve these simply issues.Read full review

Flexible and light, like the HBS-810's, but not the same sound quality. Volume won't go as high. But decent for calls and podcasts. Not great for music. I do like the external speaker to easily put calls on speaker phone w/o having to touch or carry your phone. I'd prefer another set of 810's but they just don't last before a channel goes out. Last pair only lasted 6mos. That was $90 wasted. These 835's are half the price and offer the same comfort for $40. The 810's are no longer mfg'd anyway.

i enjoyed my last pair of lg better than these only cause i feel the retractable buds had better made rtraction parts.. other than than i like them cause they do there purpose in being able to answer calls while working and the music quality is not to bad, and they block out noise failry well. good pair for the money

I have used this brand of headphones/headset for a very long time. Any version above the 900s are not as good as the versions in the 800s. This particular version is the BEST version of them all. Great sound, great mic, and incredible battery life.

This is my 4th different headset to try. It seems to be above average. I switched to this because of others good reviews. My only issue is sometimes the mics don’t pick up well, causing me to reposition the headset. It will last a 12 hour shift. I would purchase again.

love it. battery holds super long. sound is nice, i would say 8 out of 10 (not the super earphones, but definately very good). the back of the headset is rubber - doesn't "squeeze" the neck as some other models do
