    Fun to Use, Great Results

    This is a great device. We don't drink a lot of wine, so this is fine for our needs. It's fun to use, hearing it aerate the wine. And yes, it absolutely does make a difference. It can completely change the flavor of a wine, making it seem like an entirely different one. Plus, it helps reduce sulfates which can cause headaches. The base holds the aerator to keep it tidy, and the entire setup is attractive and sleek. It looks fine setting on a counter near your wine. Easy to use, simply pour the wine through it. Rinse when done. The mesh strainer comes right out. You really only need that if you have wine with sediment, like a home-made wine. Cleans up easily. Only negative is sometimes it leaks a little.     Want Good Wine for Less $$

    This unit absolutely works. Try it on a $5 wine and it tastes differently than the remaining wine in the bottle but as good as wines selling for many more dollars. There are several products out there that mimic this aeration process and they may very well work as well and actually could cost less--I have this Vinturi and I enjoy using it as a "classy looking" aerator compared to others that I have seen. Price wise and aeration efficiency wise, you have to do your own due diligence. There are less expensive and there are some that appear easier to use but that is up to you. This unit works--most definitely.

    This device works exceptionally well! It is superior to far more expensive items.

    Try it with all newly opened red wines. Just to note the difference take a sip from the freshly opened bottle first, then aerate a bit and try this. There was one instance of 2 dozen so far where I prefered the wine without aeration. This would simply be due to the high quality, and variety of the wine.
