Friday the preditable
I purchased the DVD "Friday the 13" because it seemed to be agood bargain. It is a classic slasher/horror movie from the 1980's. The begging of the movie sets the tone for the whole picture because the counselors at camp Crystal Lake are warned not to go to the lake by a strange town residentwho rides around on a bike. the campers arrive at the camp and start to set it up for the campers.The counselors joke about the curse on the camp and wonder where one of the counselors is,since she has not shown up.There are flashbacks to the camp in the 1950's and the counselors get killed as they"re about to have sex. The movie is slow moving and very predictable. Rnet it if you want to see it,do not buy it. I really enjoyed recieving my uncut copy of Friday the 13th. Before the day I recieved it, I hadn't seen the movie in 10 years. I saw some parts that I didnt' remember, so it was good to refresh my memory. It also helps having it for when Im on F13 fan chatrooms or forums discussing parts of the movie and referring back to it for reference. Friday The 13th-Part 1 DVD 2009
Being a longtime fan of the series and eagerly anticipating the release of the new Friday , I had to own this. The quality of the remaster was really good and the special features were great. My only complaint with this release was the lack of any insert inside the box. Also, pick up My Name Is Jason, I really enjoyed seeing all performers and crew from all the films.
