    Needed a VHS ...ugh

    This fits the bill. I had a Sony VCR. My wife refuses to give up on taping certain shows, so i needed a replacement. Since they don't make em new anymore, used was the only way to go. This unit works and the architecture was identical to my old unit, so the wife did not need to learn a different method of programming.

    Not sure.

    The remote does not work and I didn’t realize I needed converter and cables for smart tv. I can’t rate it entirely due to needing the rest of the items to see if I can actually get a decent vcr picture. I live in a small town in Oregon so having difficulties obtaining the converter. Seller surely knew there was more needed that I was not aware of. This may go back!
