    Not compatible with Canon STV250N. After cutting the wire and reordering the connections it was able to extract composite video from my Canon HF R600

    For Canon STV250N the Common shield should be #3 ring from tip. After cutting the wire and reordering the connections it was able to extract composite video from my Canon HF R600. Google images "STV250N pinout" for diagram.

    DOESN'T WORK!

    Apparently, this is a cheap Chinese rip-off of the original product. There was no video whatsoever, along with loud buzzing in the audio feed. (Bought one -- for a lot more money -- at an "authorized retailer" and that one worked fine. DO NOT BUY this one here!

    GREAT sound, NO VIDEO

    It does not work. I don't really know how else to say it. It simple does not work. The sound works, there is no video. i tried it on 5 different devices.
