    Excellent for a home RAID setup!

    While this card only supports SATA II speeds, it is extremely stable & reliable. It's a great value if you don't need the absolute fastest access times possible, and still provides enough speed for a home network beautifully. Take the time to download the latest firmware update from Avago, and it'll support drives at least up to 2TB. (possibly larger, but I haven't tried anything bigger yet)
