    A good scope for service or experimenting.

    The B&K 1749B is a first rate service and general purpose oscilloscope. The one that I received had dirty contacts on the vertical atenuator and horizontal time base. Circuit spray took care of that and everything else was great. I did a front panel check of the unit and it was still calibrated to spec.

    Like a broken drum, can't beat it with a stick.

    I owned one of these years ago when they were new. I am familiar with it, I have always liked the way it works. In my business, which is vintage Audio repair, this is pretty much the perfect oscilloscope.
