    Plug and Play Transmission Repair!

    My 2004 Passat 1.8T wouldn't change out of 1st gear because the TCM got fried when rain water leaked under the passenger seat floor. I looked for a salvaged one with the exact same serial number (3B0927156AM), got it, opened the TCM cover case, unplugged the fried one, plugged in this new one, and the transmission shifted perfectly. Highly recommended. Is saved me thousands for a new transmission or a new car.
