It weighs 29.5 lbs and measures 15.4 inches wide by 14.2 inches high by 14.5 inches deep. This Canon laser printer has a maximum print resolution of 1200x600 dpi. Fax resolution for this all-in-one printer is 200x400 dpi. The scan and copy resolution is 600x600 dpi. Print speeds for this Canon imageClass MF4890dw are up to 26 ppm of one sided prints, and up to 16 ppm of two sided prints. Copy speeds are the same, but at the rate of cpm, instead of ppm, with the first copy out in about 8.7 seconds. Warm-up time for this printer is about 13.5 seconds. Modem speed for the fax is up to 33.6 kbps, with a memory capacity for up to 256 sheets. Legal size paper is the largest size this printer can support.     Donor printer

    This is my 4th such "All in one laser printer". Since they are largely plastic in construction, they break easily (especially the upper feeder gears and no one can repir them, or will...so, I buy a used one and rebuild the broken part and continue to use it. This is a great printer otherwise and cheap, used same-such printers make it easy to keep it in good working order for a fair price. This was a good price and works well as a parts donor.

    Great value for so much (duplex scan & print)

    In owning Canon's MF4890dw six weeks, I've used most features: flatbed scan, duplex scan, duplex print, print on an index card, and fax. pro: + easy setup. Wireless setup directs you to online help, but even that only took 5-10 min. + duplex print was worth it alone. + auto-document feeder for scanning is much better than my flatbed scanner. + scanning greyscale is fast. Color goes about the speed of my old flatbed scanner, but black & white scanning is much faster. con: + flatbed scan when job already waiting: sometimes 4890 gets confused and tries to use the auto-feeder, and detects a paper jam when there's no paper. + handling of paper jam is annoying. No buttons work, need to put paper back in auto-feeder or turn unit off then on. But access to paper jams has been very easy. + ...

    Great Product.

    I love it. I recommend it to anyone. I do have two of them and never had any issues. I have a small business where I have to print, copy, and fax a lot and they have blown my expectations. I'm thinking about buying a third one.

    Great quality printing and copying with tons of features.

    The wireless feature works great through my internet provider wireless router. The copy feature works well for one and two-sided printing. Great printer for a home or small office, or even an office with 6 or so people. Replacement ink cartridges are very economical, ordered 2 online. Great printer!
