Easy assembly and can transport.
Great! stand for large foam Planes. The only thing I do is lay a towel or rag on the surface so the stand does not slide or move around. Maybe future stands will have non skid padding on the bottom. Other than that It's Perfect! for me and I love the foam protecting covering and storage tray features.

overpriced but necessary
Seems like a lot of money for a few molded pcs of plastic. However sine it is a rc specialty product there aren't a lot of options other than building one myself. In retrospect I'd buy one of the taller folding type airplane stands which cost around $100 . with this one small one, at the field you're always kneeing or bending over (ouch my poor back) to change batteries or work on the plane

Ultra stand from Ernst . the best
I have 4 of these stands and use them for .60 size nitro planes down to my park flyers . They are excellent for working on my rc planes ..I stalling servos , engine or motor I stall. I also use them for storage of my planes at times and transporti g them. The base has nice s0ace for holding servos , hardware etc . the protective foam for the cradles is thick and durable and provides excellent to the models finish . older release of the ultra stand had the same self adhesive foam that you install and it had screws to keep ends from lifti g ....bo2 they improved that by adding clips that he the ends of the co strips down and no more screws tearing through the foam over time . Light weight but sturdy!
The stand is not good for small bodied air craft kits. The upside: I love it for large RC building. The two trays are nice for holding glue or small supplies you need when working. The best working stand without making your own.
