Best Intel 13th Gen CPU on the Market
Currently the fastest 13th Gen Intel flagship CPU available at this time. Backwards compatibility with Z690 chipset motherboards with LGA1700 sockets. BUT - BEFORE YOU UPGRADE - you may need to first update your BIOS and your Intel ME drivers for your Z690/Z790 motherboard! Do this in Windows BEFORE you upgrade the CPU, or else you may find yourself unable to boot from your M.2 NVMe drive if that's where you boot from. Learned that the hard way - had to downgrade to previous CPU so that I could boot back into Windows and update the Intel ME firmware drivers, then re-upgrade to the new 13th Gen CPU, redo all my BIOS settings, and then successfully boot into Windows. Everything working fine after all that - THIS CPU IS A BEAST!!! :-)Currently the fastest 13th Gen Intel flagship CPU available at this time.
